Baidu's bid
What used to be common place now is a rare occurrence, a stock that creates excitement, disbelief, and arguments. Baudi (symbol: BIDU) is such an animal. BIDU astounded Wall St. when it dared to quintuple from its IPO price in the first two days of trading. It has since pulled back around 50% and made the "I told you so" people gleam.
However, our experience from 1999 should teach us that these stocks usually do not die after suffering their first major pullback. Everybody (Bulls and Bears) needs to say "I told you so" at least several times. BIDU seems to be resurrecting itself. If it continues to move up on increasing volume it will surely start discussions all over again. We're just waiting for CNBC to take notice! We have made some recent purchases of BIDU for a trade as we reminisce about the "Good 'ol Days".
Hold the phone…CNBC has mentioned it as we write!
