Bears Are Waiting

The market closed near the lows of the day. Breadth was negative at around 2:1 and volume was light. Most of the major averages were off aprox: .5% except for the small caps which were battered down 1.5% . When there is a lack of bids in the market , illiquid small caps get punished more than their larger brothers. We used the relative strength in Large Caps to sell short more QQQQ. Our net long position is now aprox: 35% .

The immature bulls will probably take heart that the selling was not too heavy . They may start to contemplate that perhaps the decline has run its course and a playable rally is at hand . Therefore, we expect a pathetic attempt by the bulls to try to bounce the market on Monday or Tuesday. The Bears will be all too happy to grab the bulls by the nose- ring and twist hard....OUCH! This time the brave Bears will indeed sell, and sell a lot. Volume baby!

Perhaps late Tuesday or Wednesday we are expecting an aggresive display from Smokey. This would probably lead to even more drifting down until we hit better support levels. Nasdaq 2090 seems like a nice place to wage war.

If You Held a Taser to Our Head: We will wait for the immature Bulls to do their thing on Monday or Tuesday. When the market has a POP we hope to short more before the Bears really DROP in.

Get your rest this weekend, we think you will need it.
