Children Like to Play
The market is providing us with the expected bounce that we mentioned in our closing post yesterday. The only sector that we made buys in today is gold, specifically ABX. The market breadth is solid and the volume is on pace to surpass yesterdays.
The market is climbing despite the weaker than expected GDP revision, and very disapointing Purchasing Managers Index. This bounce will most likely be faded hard in the next 24 -48 hours. Even the slight inversion of the yield curve forcasting potential future recession and stubborn statements from the Fed signifying no intention to pause , is not detering the (child like) over anxious bulls.
Instead, they choose to focus on the news that the Gov has decided to release the Strategic Oil Reserve; or perhaps they noticed that the new low list did not expand with yesterday's decline. For what ever reason today is a half full day and we dare not say anything to ruin their party mood .
Wait a second , we think we just heard our parents pull up! ___________________________________________________
