Late Closing Post
The stock market flopped around like a "poor" fish out of water today. Volume was light and the breadth was ok. The transports continued to act well in the face of rising oil. Overall the market action can be classified as MEANINGLESS.
We sold some of our positions into strength , and even shorted a little QQQQ's as the Nasdaq approached 2140. We are now net long aprox: 40% and plan on further reducing our exposure.
The trend is still down until it is not , and we are willing to be patient. The decline that we are expecting will most likely be unpleasant , but not terrible. However , we encourage traders to reduce exposure if they have not already . It is not too late.
If You Held a Taser to Our Head: We would short more QQQQ and possibly IWM into any strength. Remember, if you are not panicking in this stock market decline, neither is any one else......YET.
Have a good night. ___________________________________________________
